Terms and Conditions

  1. Introduction These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the tour services provided by Newline Tourism (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By booking or participating in our tours, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully before proceeding with your booking.
  2. Booking and Payments
  • Booking Confirmation:
    • Bookings are confirmed upon receipt of the required deposit or full payment as specified during the booking process.
    • A confirmation email or receipt will be provided as proof of your booking.
  • Payment Terms:
    • Full payment is required 15 days before the tour departure date for outbound and inbound tours.
    • Local tours may require payment upon booking or on the day of the tour, depending on the service.
    • Failure to complete payment within the stipulated timeline may result in cancellation.
  • Prices and Inclusions:
    • Prices are subject to change based on currency fluctuations, government regulations, or supplier price adjustments.
    • Tour inclusions and exclusions will be clearly stated in the tour itinerary or package description.
  1. Cancellations and Refunds 
  • Cancellation by Customers:
    • Cancellation requests must be made in writing and are subject to the following:
      • 10% charge cancellation fee 40 days prior to departure 
      • 20% charge cancellation fee between 40 – 29 days prior to departure
      • 30% charge cancellation fee between 28-16 days prior to departure
      • 50% charge cancellation fee between 15 days prior to departure
      • 100% charge cancellation fee between 14 days prior to check-in.
      • Unused tour/excursion/ticket no refund/no adjustment. 
    • Cancellation by Newline Tourism:
      • We reserve the right to cancel tours due to unforeseen circumstances, including natural disasters, government restrictions, or insufficient participants.
      • In such cases, customers will be offered a full refund or the option to reschedule.
    • Non-Refundable Components:
      • Certain components, such as visa fees, travel insurance, or third-party services, are non-refundable.
      • No Show – No refund

  1. Travel Documents and Requirements
  • Passports and Visas:
    • Customers are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and other travel documents required for their destination.
  • Health and Safety:
    • It is the customer’s responsibility to meet health requirements, including vaccinations or COVID-19 tests, as per the destination’s regulations.
  • Personal Data:
    • Personal information provided for bookings will be processed in accordance with our Data Privacy Policy.
  1. Changes to Itineraries
  • Alterations by Customers:
    • Any requested changes to itineraries after confirmation may be subject to additional charges and availability.
  • Alterations by Newline Tourism:
    • We reserve the right to make minor adjustments to itineraries due to weather conditions, local circumstances, or supplier limitations. Significant changes will be communicated in advance.
  1. Limitation of Liability
  • Force Majeure:
    • Newline Tourism is not liable for delays, cancellations, or disruptions caused by events beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, political unrest, or public health emergencies.
  • Third-Party Services:
    • We act as an intermediary for services provided by third parties (e.g., airlines, hotels, transportation providers). Any disputes or issues with these services must be resolved directly with the third party.
  • Customer Responsibility:
    • Customers are expected to behave responsibly during tours and comply with local laws. Newline Tourism is not responsible for any loss, damage, or injury resulting from negligence or misconduct by customers.
  1. Travel Insurance
  • It is mandatory for customers participating in outbound and inbound tours to have comprehensive travel insurance covering cancellations, medical emergencies, and personal belongings.
  1. Photography and Media
  • By participating in our tours, you consent to the use of photographs or videos taken during the tour for promotional purposes. If you wish to opt out, please inform us in writing before the tour begins.
  1. Complaints and Disputes
  • Any complaints during the tour should be reported immediately to the tour leader or our customer service team to allow prompt resolution.
  • Disputes arising from these Terms will be governed by the laws of Kenya and resolved through litigation, arbitration or mediation where applicable.
  1. Updates to Terms and Conditions
  • We may update these Terms periodically. The updated version will be made available on our website and will apply to future bookings.
